Ava, Bria and Ciera were found after a big storm and heavy rains hit Delhi. The mother could hide away taking 3 pups with her, but she was forced to leave these 3 little girls behind. A few weeks after their rescue, one brother and one sister were caught by workers who didn’t want to see them around and thrown away on the street. They did the same then with the last pup of the litter who was also found screaming outside, while the mother was nowhere to be found. It looks like some people were disturbed by both the mother and her puppies and decided to chase them away. Now they are all reunited and playing together in our garden. The mother has come into our garden to see how her babies were doing. It broke our heart and we wanted to help and find a way to bring her to her pups, but she was so scared that she quickly ran away. We hope she can come inside again and stay with her pups for a while, so that we might gain her confidence and check on her and, if possible, spay her.
UPDATE: Mommy and pups are all reunited and are living happily in a beautiful foster home.

Plans are underway for this litter of 6 pups to travel to Vancouver towards the end of February. Wonderful that mom has joined her pups in the garden and is feeding them and being well-nourished herself. I look forward to meeting them all and finding them good homes in greater Vancouver area.
Hi, I would love more information on these pups if they are still available, especially, I think, Ciera? (The puppy lying in the middle with the cream and black coat.)
Thanks,
Alisha
Hi Barbara, I live in Puyallup, Washington and I am very interested in adopting one of the new puppies that you are sheltering. Either Ciera, Bria or Ava. I have a 13 year old cattle dog who has gone blind and a 2 year old kelpie who badly needs a playmate. I probably will have to put down my very faithful cattle dog, Molly, who I rescued 10 years ago due to health problems. I have a cat also. I am very active. I have a fully fenced in back yard and take my dogs hiking or to the dog park every chance I get. You now know my home situation, so maybe you can best tell me who would be a good fit for family. I can also travel to abbotsford to meet the puppies and for them to meet my two dogs. Please contact me by my email. I tried to call just now but your phone was busy. Thanks, Patty
Hi, is Bria still available?
